Who ever said Dogs don’t like TV

DSC00811

Okay maybe all dogs don’t like it. Quigley is almost never interested, but me, I love it. Especially when dad holds me on his lap. You never know what we were watching, probably something like the Walton’s. I am not sure why they like that show so much, it always makes them cry.

DSC00812
But even I get a little tired after awhile. And I need a nap before we go for our walk, so I’m gonna just lay down and relax for awhile.

Talk to you later,
Love, Annie

It was just a little love bite

DSC00758Okay, so sometime we have a little jealousy going on. And in all the pictures, he always looks so patient and I look like a wild women. Check out the red eye---that was dad’s fault and the camera.

But what no one knows about is, at night, how he just looks at me. I know he doesn’t want me to get on the bed, because he was there first. And it is already a little crowded. What with mom, him and then dad getting in. But I am little and I sleep over their heads, so what’s the problem? Oh yeah, he doesn’t growl, or bark. He just looks. It is the only time I pay any attention to that look, but it always works.

So I whine, and cry a little. Mom starts first, encouraging me to just get on the bed, then dad, but he keeps looking. So finally they figure one of them needs to get out of bed, so I can run past those eyes. It is almost always dad, (I think he loves me the best—don’t tell Quigley though), And then all is well.
I am not spoiled, not a diva, I am just a little girl, who knows what she wants. I think mom calls that being a DeCarlo woman.

Love, Annie, who slept in bed last night.

Post with picture will have to wait.

For some reason, blog won't accept my post and picture. Dad will have to figure it out later. So check back this evening, hopefully I'll be up and running.

Geo WHAT????????????????

DSC00774We headed out for another adventure. This one without mom. You have to admit, we are some cute guys……. Anyway, today we went to Lick Hollow. It is a part of our mountains. You can picnic there and you can hike.(this is why mom didn’t go—the word hike was involved)

DSC00776

So off we went because dad is into a new thing. It’s called Geocaching-----I know, what is that? Anyway, we like it almost as much as dad does because we get to hike and see new places.

DSC00778Actually we smell new places, dad see’s them. We went on this trail because dad wanted to see the stone.

DSC00779Me, I just wanted to stand on it.

DSC00780Annie was climbing on too, you know she can’t stand for me to get any of the glory. I swear, if I won at the Olympics' she  would run up and get on the stand with me.

DSC00782Anyway, here I am for a moment, claiming the glory,

DSC00784
This is the box dad was looking for, pretty unimpressive if you ask me. But dad was super excited. It doesn’t seem to take much to make him happy.

DSC00789

This is us at the sign. Mom wasn’t there so dad had to do all the picture taking. He is getting pretty brave, allowing us to be on  our own.  All in all, we had a really fun time. We were all  exhausted when we got home, but we were all smiling.

Love to all, Quig and Annie, the geocaching dogs.

Seconds anyone????????

DSC00656I always eat in my crate. That is where I was trained in my old house, and mom continued it when I got here.  But I have decided that they just don’t feed me enough. I know they feed me what I need, but not what I want.

DSC00663
So being the really bright little girl that I am, I decided that maybe I could give them a clue. After eating, I just pick my dish up and head to the living room, or craft room, wherever they are. I drop it down with a plunk, chew it for awhile. And look cute.

DSC00666

It gets a little old after awhile, so I try the paw in dish routine. Look mom, it’s empty….dad----------------------- come on, someone pay attention.

DSC00667

Oh jeeze, I am really getting bored with this. Quig thinks I’m silly, so he just takes a nap. But I’d really like seconds.

DSC00668

What?????? I have to do what????? Wait????? I think this is called child abuse.

Love, always hungry Annie.

Does this seem fair to you?

DSC00764Okay, so I got a little out of control today. And maybe even last night. But to be abandoned on the deck? Mom wants you to know before I go even a little bit farther, she does wash the window on the door, but as we hear a lot these days, 2 noses can make a lot of marks.

DSC00766So back to my predicament, I am feeling my oats, as mom likes to say, these days. I am counting on them NOT  sending me back to Mississippi, or abandoning me on the side of a mountain road.  So once in awhile, I just let it go.  So here I am, out on the deck alone. I tried looking sad, like in the top picture, thought maybe if I looked away, they would think I didn’t care.

DSC00768Okay I will try the other direction. But they just don’t seem to mind that I am sorry, it was a mistake. It seems they just can’t take a joke.

DSC00770And the worse thing is, is Miss Annie is laughing at me through the door. You would think she’d try to help me. Little turncoat.

Well they finally let me back in. So I’m just going to take a nap, and forget this all happened. I hope they will too.

Have a fun day, don’t get into too much trouble. It’s so easy to do.

Love, Quigley

Quig here

DSC00759I’ve got a secret. But I needed to share. Please don’t tell Queen Annie though.
DSC00760I’ve been going to bed when mom does. We go up earlier than the night owls, dad and Annie. It is really nice, we can cuddle a little and then I can stretch out and take one whole half of the bed till dad comes up. Anyway, last night, mom and I went up, she took a little too long to get out of the bathroom, soooooooooooooo I decided to wait on (this is the secret part) on Annie’s couch. Yes I said Annie’s couch. I have never been on that couch before and probably never again. BUT I did it. Mom smiled and said it was okay, but I figured that I better move before missy came up. So remember,schoosh----- it’s our little secret.
DSC00763One more thing, does this pictue make my nose look big?

Till later, remember mum’s the word,
Love, Quigley
