No big posting……

DSC01560Just the look of love.

Sweet Annie and Adorable Quigley, to you, from us, with love.

Hallelujah He’s all better

DSC01551It was touch and go for awhile, so being the wonderful sister I am, I stayed very close, I made sure nothing got in his way.

DSC01552I even protected his eye with my own body. But I guess it really wasn’t necessary.

DSC01554
He seemed to have beaten it all by himself. See he is bright eyed and bushy tailed. Well his tail is pretty short so maybe not so bushy tailed, but you know what I mean.

DSC01557I have to admit, I’m still not going to take any chances, I need to keep him safe and happy, sooooooooooooo here I stay until I am sure all danger is gone.

Thanks to all of you for worrying about my brub. Especially Maria, for checking in and making sure he was okay.
Oh yeah, by the way, it’s snowing here, and we LOVE it.

Love, the protector, Annie

My brub is very delicate

DSC01498Poor Quigley, it seems every week or so, something upsets him. Two weeks ago, he got tapeworm. We don’t know how it happened, but he got it, I didn’t. He got meds for it and by the next day, he was fine. So yesterday, we had company. Big doc and the pugs and girls were over. We all had a great time, went walking after the humans ate. Later that evening, mom noticed, Quigley’s one eye was weeping. She also thought it was a little puffy.

Of course she got dad involved and off to their little tin of dog remedy’s they went. They never mark what they have and what it is for, so of course they called big Doc, to see if they had the right thing for his eye. They did and put drops in his eye.
OHHHH he didn’t like that. He showed them, he wouldn’t open his eye and squeezed it really tight. It seemed a little better last night, and this morning  too. But mom thinks it is still irritated. So when dad gets home they are going to try taking him out to see big Doc. Mom can’t do it alone, because I WILL NOT BE LEFT BEHIND.
So please think good thought’s for the big guy. Don’t tell him I said this, but he really is a sweetie.
Talk to you later, Love, Annie

I fooled them all

DSC01544They, (whoever they are) told mom that I’d do a lot of damage to her Christmas stuff.

DSC01547

They were wrong, all of them. I have been very respectful of her stuff. Actually, I love it, almost as much as she does.

DSC01548I don’t want to hurt it, I like lying in front of it, feeling the warmth and beauty of the season, in that one little tree.

Have a warm and beautiful day,
Love, Annie

The wonders of Christmas

It moves and when it does, I swear I hear Santa wishing all a good night. We have decided HOLIDAYS are the best. We had such a wonderful time with Aunt Ria. It’s like having another mother. She didn’t llike us jumping on her,( mom said we have to work on that), but she loved everything else about us. And us, well we think she is supecal----a, lets try that again, supercalafragalistic (whew)expialadocious………….That means she’s the top,the best, the most fantastic, aunt we could ever want.

We hope you had your favorites with you this Thanksgiving. And everyday.

Love, Annie and Quigley

I like Thanksgiving

DSC01537
So we are in what mom calls the Holiday season. Who knew that, that meant decorating and cooking, also I’m told, baking is going to happen.
 YUM---- Everything smells, so good.

DSC01538The sad thing about all this Thanksgiving stuff is, they don’t share. I always have been told, share with your sissy, don’t take that from her, share. Share, share, share. Well they really should practice what they preach.

DSC01540As you can see, they don’t. Here I am, waiting patiently, wishing for something to fall. Nothing, nadda, not a drop. They say I’m cute as can be, but where does that get me.

DSC01541As you can tell, sissy got it quicker than I did. But you can’t kill a boy for trying.

One really good thing, Aunt Ria is here. And mom said we gave her something extra special to be thankful for this year,-- us. As for us, we are more than thankful that Shelli and momma Johnna, found this wonderful home for us. We love it here, are loved here and they say---- Christmas is going to be even better.
To all of you, we are thankful that you come to visit us at our blog. And we wish you the MOST BLESSED Thanksgiving.

Stay safe and full of food ,that they won’t share with us.
Love, Quigley, (who never gives up) and Annie

Decorating is a HARD thing.

DSC01531Oh boy, did we have a day yesterday. Dad walked us early. A nice long, fun walk. Then when we came home, and before we knew it, they started that decorating stuff. Well as you all know, they are not allowed to  do anything without our supervision. We must, at all times, be in close proximity to them. (mom calls it “up their butts”) I do get the feeling, she doesn’t like it.
So first thing they did was the “fishing village”—where do they get these idea’s—then they brought a HUGE box up. I am guessing that last year they mutilated a tree and decided to save it. It was cut up into large limbs and had a green post for the base. I am thinking it took a long time to cut up so they just decided to  keep it.
Anyway, they started putting it together, THAT, took some time, and brub and I couldn’t figure why???????? But they were adamant about it. So we just had to let them have at it.
Once they got it up mom put lots of stuff on it. The tree lights up and it does look kind of nice. Every once in awhile, we check it out, but then we hear a loud NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,
DSC01533It was all just too much for me. This is what happened when we were finally done. Whew---------way too much work for a couple of little dogs to do.
I’ll get some pictures of the work we did later.
Get cracken with your decorating……this Christmas thing is right around the corner.
If you need help, just call mom. Our decorating days are done.
Love, Annie
