Annie’s got a new water dish---

DSC_0038Oy vey , and they say she is the smart one. Lets do a little back story. Annie is very picky about what she drinks water from. At least in the house, outside she will drink from any dirty thing. So mom and dad  are always trying new things to get her interested.
DSC01979Recently, she decided the toilet was a good place to drink from. Now that made mom really crazy. So being the gal she is, she started trying to find something that might make Annie happy.
DSC01980And she found this. It is a ceramic bowl. Mom thought it was cute and just the right size. So she bought it and brought it home. You know it worked too. Annie went right to it and had a drink and then immediately  stuck her whole face into the dish trying to get that dog out.
DSC01981Cute yup, but not as smart as we thought.
Missed you all,
Love, the now looking much smarter,
Quigley

Does this camera make me look fat?

Dad started taking pictures again with his new camera. I thought it was my duty to be his model so he can get some practice in so here I am posing on the couch. I try to be patient with him but I can only sit still for so long.

We’ve been busy helping him shovel snow lately. Now that it’s warming up some I will nudge them into posting our stories again. Sorry about not keeping you guys up to date with the goings on around here. Quigley and I are keeping our people pretty busy what with walks at the park and the occasional car ride.

Dad said he’s planning to take the camera with him when we go out for our walks this spring so you guys will get to see some cool new spots this coming spring!

See ya’s soon. Stay warm. Love, Annie

Dad it’s time for us to have a man to man talk

DSC01969I may need some help here. I am only a year and a half old and already I find dad needs a little talking too.
Here is the background story. Mom and I like to go to bed before dad and Annie. We go up, turn on the tv.  We then cuddle down for some giggles and belly rubs,(my belly not hers). Before you know it, I’m asleep. That big bed is nice and comfy for a guy of my size. I can put my head on the pillow next to mom and stretch out, wooo it’s nice.
But then (this is where the talking comes in) at some ungodly hour, dad thinks it is his turn to come to bed. Now I don’t mind that too much, Annie sleeps on top of heads on a pillow all of her own, and him, well he just needs to find some room somehow. As soon as I hear him coming I make sure to get back on MY pillow and, well-- he is on his own. Honestly, I think mom likes it, cause I hear her laugh, when he try’s to get into bed.
I am not sure why he grumbles so much, I was there first. I do hear him say things like  “this is my side Quigley (who does he think he’s kidding, it’s mine now) move over Quigley, I need my pillow Quigley, blah, blah, blah. So if anyone want’s to jump in and tell him how unfair he is being, please be my guest.
Makes it hard for a dog to get a good nights sleep.
Stretch out and put your head on a soft pillow, it does a heart good.
Love, Quigley
