It’s a job and it’s mine.

20140315_090755_resizedSo as you all know we love going on walks. What you might not know is, we also love going on rides.  There is nothing quite so sweet as the smell of the great outdoors. And now that spring is almost here, they put the windows down for me , more often and farther down.

20140315_090759_resized_1I can now stick my entire head out of the window and share my great beauty with the world.

One day mom took me to Romeo’s, (anyone who has ever visited Uniontown, knows Romeo’s and how incredible it smells). To anyone who hasn’t been here, it is an Italian store. Selling wonderful smelling cheeses and meats. Imported pasta’s and sauces. All kinds of goodies.  Even though I can’t go into the store, you can only guess how wonderful those smells are to a nose the size of mine. Wow…..

Any way, look close and you will see my big head out the window after helping dad go to the bank, oh boy we love those girls, they always give us lots of cookies.

Hope you can stick you head out the window, get lots of cookies and always smile when you think of us.

Love, the hard working,

Quigley

Not once but twice.

We are getting snow again tomorrow, but, mom says spring is really here. We have a big fat bunny in our yard, well she is in our yard as long as we’re in the house. And this squirrel, and the robins and our doves are back too.

There are even a few daffodils trying to grow…..spring what a wonderful word.

Hope that your yard is full of spring time critters and that the flowers bloom and the snow stays away. Wishing you a blue sky and sunny day.

Lots of doggy snuggles and wet nose kisses,

Quigley and Annie

What can we say?

DSC02983I know it’s been a VERY long time since we stopped by to see all of you. But honestly we have a reason.

Besides the regular, boring cold weather with nothing to do, a little crazy happened.

It was Friday night, actually early Saturday morning when I woke mom up barking. She thought I made dad put me out and that he forgot about me, (now we all know that would not happen). So she pulled herself out of bed to make me be quiet, after all it was the middle of the night, and we have to be good neighbors.

She realized that I was not outside, but in the craft room barking, so she came down to investigate. Oh boy she didn’t like what she found.

Dad was outside on our front porch, talking to some man. She waited until he came in and found out that one of our neighbors called to say they smelled gas. So the gas company came and decided to turn our gas off. Oh we were safe, the leak was way out by the road but it was cold and according to mom, we weren’t going to have hot water or a stove to cook or heat………Dum, dum, dum dum…….

This story could go on forever, but just so you know I kept them safe, friends came out from the woodwork to help them and---------

Here are the men talking about how to fix our problem. It got better, we have heat and a stove and hot water, so mom is much happier.

I saved them one more time. Thanks to all our buds, especially Miss Bonnie for making sure we were warm.

Love ya all bunch’s

and we promise to try and be better about our visits.
