It was a cold and very overcast day. Hey that sounds like the beginning of a novel. I think we’re on to something here. Anyway, we went walking yesterday at Hutchison and what a day.
Check out the waterfall. In the summer, it isn’t even a tinkle, and now, well it is a waterfall worthy of Niagara Falls. Okay that might be exaggerating a little but well you get the picture.
So while we were enjoying the last day of winter, low and behold, look what we saw. Beautiful mallard ducks. We were quiet for a while, thinking we could sneak up on them, Buttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
Annie just couldn’t help herself, and started to bark, and bark and bark. So they did what any self respecting duck would do, they just got up and walked away.
If you ever need a bird dog, don’t call us, we aren’t very good at it.
Have a wonderful spring. Mom said it will come, and according to her—Not Soon Enough.
