We”ve turned them into an adventuresome pair

DSC00593Mom keeps saying she hates to hike. But since we showed up, it seems every weekend at least they are looking for new places to go. Today we went to Fort Necessity. I know, I know the fort is not on the river. Well they were having a big Cherokee Heritage festival. Oh they didn’t mind us walking around, but dad couldn’t park at the fort, we had to shuttle in and the forest rangers didn’t think that the shuttle driver would let Annie and I on the bus. What were they thinking? We would have been a huge hit, we are beautiful, well behaved and love everyone. So dumping that idea, we left there, promising that we would be back.

Mom said, how about the Damn. We thought it was a fine idea, we’ll go anywhere. Dad said okay and down the road we went. It seemed we drove for a long time, but the scenery was beautiful and the closer we got the more excited Annie was.

Mom wanted to take us on the beach so we could go swimming. But once more, the sign said NO Dogs on beach. Mom was more disappointed than us, but then some nice man told us we could go down to the river a different way.

So down we went and here we are in the Yough River at Yough Damn. We had a ball. As you can see, dad took off his shoes, rolled up his shorts, and came in with us. Mom is always doing the pictures, so she didn’t get in. She said next time she is bringing a chair that she can put in the water and have a ball.

Once more we have a video, and once more we are waiting for dad to enter it for us. We were a little smelly heading home, napped some and were really happy. I hope Johnna knows they are doing all they can to keep us happy.

Video was added at the top,
Love, Quigley
