I promised more pic’s---here they are.

DSC01086This is standing looking out over the river. The view can take your breath away. Friendship Hill is the home of Albert Gallatin. And walking around you can almost hear the Indians as they purveyed their land.

DSC01088This is a view of the house (I don’t know for sure why mom calls this a house, it sure is bigger than ours.)

DSC01089The river flowing gently by. It was a slightly cool day, bright and beautiful. Made us glad to have moved to Pennsylvania.

DSC01092Mom wanted a picture of this gazebo. Has started making noises that she’d love to have one in our yard. I am not too sure, where would Annie and I run?

DSC01095The front view of the “house” I wouldn’t want to cut that grass….whew!!!

DSC01097This is what is believed to be Sophie’s grave. She was Albert’s first wife. Legend had it, he loved her very much and when she died, he hid her grave, so that her family wouldn’t come and take her body away from him.

DSC01102This lovely little pond lies behind Sophie’s grave. Mom wouldn’t let dad let us go in, she is such a buzz kill.

This just shows us doing our thing, enjoying a late summer walk.

Big doc and the kids caught up to us, and we all walked a longggggggggggggggggg way. By time we got back to the car, we were parched. So being the good dogs we are, we shared our water all around.

This shows you how tired we were. Poor Einstien couldn’t keep his eyes open, even when he was trying to be cute and get some goodies.

A fun day was had by all. If anyone is around Point Marion, you need to go see, a favorite place of ours. Friendship Hill.

Love, we are going to rest a lot today.
