Let’s face it---he is one good looking guy

DSC01060
But I gotta tell you sometimes he is just not too bright. Take this morning for example. We went on a nice long walk with dad. He takes us every morning and we feel it is a great way to start our day.

But honestly unless he ran us for an hour, we still have lots of energy when we get home. When we get there, we eat, the most important part of morning if you ask us. And then mom in all of her wisdom lets us out in the yard to run the rest of our energy out.

Well she did that this morning too, but you see we had lots of rain last night. That adds up to a really muddy yard. We seem to be hard on grass and stuff. Anyway, we had a great time and got awfully muddy (as dogs and kids would do). This didn’t make mom happy. You see, while dad is walking us, she starts her cleaning. Vacuuming, swiffering, dusting and sometimes like today. Washing the kitchen floor. So when we wanted to come in, with muddy paws, she just wouldn’t have it until our feet were washed. Being the smallest one, I can’t stop it. She can just pick me up and make me bend to her will. But Quig, well that is a different matter. That’s where the smart, but sometime, not so smart come’s in.

DSC01062Quigley saw the bucket, was smart enough to run away. That made mom really mad, so she told him he could live outside today. He didn’t like that idea, but hated having his paws put in that bucket more. So outside he stayed for quite awhile. Figured he’d just go under the deck. But dad booby trapped it with mirrors and he can’t get in. But Einstein thought he saw another dog under his deck and he freaked. The hair on his back was standing straight up.

I couldn’t help but laugh, mom gave in and let him come in, but poor handsome Quigley never figured it out.
You gotta love the big lug, I know I do,

Annie
