Okay so last night mom tried to wake dad up early-ish. She called down around 11 to say it was time to take us out and come to bed. Of course he said okay and immediately fell back to sleep.
So around 2 o’clock, he woke up again, took us out and up we went. We did our regular routine, and I thought we were settled down. I got warm and jumped off the bed. All of sudden the light came on. Mom WAS NOT happy. I heard her ask dad what was going on, and he said he heard something. She told him, it was just me, but being the man, he didn’t believe her and needed to go check it out. She told him to take one of the dogs with him, so he called me to come with. Mom waited and waited and thought she better turn the light on, and there we were protecting her. Fast asleep, but still protecting her. Dad came back, said all was well, and got back into bed. But not before saying something about the GREAT watchdogs they have. Go figure…..
